Born in Traunstein, Bavaria in 1982, I went from my parents' ceramics workshop to creating pixelated worlds, from mountain infantry to design studios, from construction sites to the atelier — a winding road that shaped a wide-open view of the world and left its mark on everything I make. Raised around clay and craft, hooked on games and virtual worlds as a teenager, then several years carrying a rifle in the Alps and on peacekeeping missions abroad. A degree in game design, years as a craftsman, a stint in graphic design and product photography — and now, finally, back on my own terms. Making abstract acrylic paintings, taking photographs, and building things with my hands. Wood and ceramics are next.
